PolarConnect Event - Friday, April 18 at 12 pm Alaska Time
This is my shameless plug for everyone who can to join us live for a PolarConnect event. I will be presenting a slide show from Greenland - you'll hear my audio live - and then there will be time for some questions and answers. I will have on hand a few NASA scientists who can nudge me every time I say something wrong. They'll also be able to help answer questions at the end of the session.
I paused from the computer long enough to walk up to the top of Black Ridge behind town. It's a communication site that sits several hundred feet about Kanger allowing a commanding view of the town.Below is the PolarConnect advertisement straight from the PolarTREC headquarters in Fairbanks, Alaska.
Join us for this real-time PolarConnect webinar (web seminar) from Greenland!
PolarConnect participants will learn more about what scientists are doing to study the polar regions, as well as what it is to live and work in the arctic and in Antarctica through presentations and Q&A sessions with teachers and polar scientists.
