The delay has allowed me to do many things here in and around Christchurch, so I will take advantage of the repeated delays and share the experience with you!
Cathedral Square is in the center of Christchurch and has much going on daily. Musicians perform as do a variety of entertainers.
This musician is playing a whistle made out of bone This is one incredible musician! There's a huge chess set that is available to players daily and draws quite a group of onlookers.
A couple of gentlemen enjoying a friendly game of chessDavid and I met in the Square at noon on Sunday as we were planning to hike outside of Christchurch, but before we grabbed the bus, he asked if I wouldn't mind waiting. He wanted to provide some live Irish music to a group of young people trying to raise money to attend the 2010 World Irish Dance Championships in Glascow. (David is a talented musician!) He tried to convince me to join in, but darn! I'd left my pennywhistle at the Windsor. Quite honestly, I wanted to watch and listen anyways. Irish dance mesmerizes me!
My team mate David provides live music for young Irish dancers This young dancer shows the crowd her 'stuff'!I did record the performance and have created an iMovie with the footage. Sit back and enjoy!! (Especially you Lydia!)

And once again, I can't thank Bob Bone and Apple enough for allowing me the use of a Macbook! I'm still amazed at how easily and quickly I can put these iMovies together that look like it took hours to do. I don't have hours to fiddle with video projects so this has been a blessing! Thanks again!!!
