When I woke up in the morning I was told that a new C130 was arriving to pick us up. The original C130 was still broken.

I got to meet a whole different crew and ate lunch with them at the mess hall.

Once we arrived we were transported from the air field to KISS (Kangerlussuaq International Science Services) in a big yellow bus. I got my first look of Greenland and while it may look plain I thought it was beautiful.

For dinner we walked over to the Polar Bear which serves Thai food and pizza. I got chicken green curry. We use meal tickets to buy food.

After dinner we went on a nice evening stroll. Notice that it is light outside even though it is close to 9pm at night. This is because the sun rarely sets due to the angle the sun is hitting the Arctic.
