I'll be chatting live from Antarctica on Wednesday.Today was to be a catch up day out into the field. Byron and I were to catch a helicopter flight to Miers Valley. I also had some Skype visits scheduled with students back in the states. I was wondering how I could be in two places at one time. Well, when I got up, the weather made the choice for me...no flights today. Snow and fog grounded all aircraft. I headed up Observation Hill to Skype with the students.
Byron and I were up Observation Hill Skyping with students back in the U.S. We could not have asked for better Skyping conditions. Cold, snowy, windy, and fun. Look through the fog in the background and you can see McMurdo Station. This is on Observation Hill. Here is the promised video of our tour through the Discovery Hut. Enjoy.
