Fly Your Flag in the Arctic Circle

Art Contest

After learning about the Arctic environment and Ms. Ruland's upcoming expedition to Siberia, students were challenged to design a flag for the scientists. The winning flags will be flown in Siberia and returned to the champions.

It was tough competition and over 170 flags from students, kindergarten through 6th grade, were submitted. The Siberian science team voted and here are our winners!

  • In 1st Place: Nevada Willis - 6th Grade
  • In 2nd Place: Dusty Williams - 3rd Grade
  • In 3rd Place: Maggie Elder - 4th Grade
