Summary
Bag drag was at 6:30am and students boarded the flight by 10am. When the C-130 landed several Kangerlussuaq residents were on the flight as a "turnaround" tour. Aggu Broberg of Disco Bay was asked to be a tour guide and interpreter. We then boarded the flight for the 1.5 hour flight to Kanger. When we arrived in Kanger we had lunch and students took showers (having been 3 days since we'd had one!), did laundry and generally relaxed for the rest of the day.
Tomorrow students will work on producing their Summit video and visit a local waterfall.

Hi my name is Malou Papis, and I’m from Qassiarsuk, South Greenland. I go to school in GU Qaqortoq and I just finished my first year. Yesterday (16/07) we woke up early at 6:30, and I woke up freezing and still tired, which is the coldest day we were there (thank god it was the last day!). After we dropped off our luggage, we waited in the Big House until the departure, and we chilled out and ate breakfast. When we were waiting, we played cards: Olsen and Five Crowns. And we saw the plane landing from the Big House, and then we were getting ready for departure. Then when we departed Summit at 10am, which seemed like leaving the winter, I fell asleep after some minutes. I woke up a few times and fell asleep again, and I woke up when we were going to land, at 12pm, and in Kangerlussuaq it was summer! It’s so cool to experience that :D and after that, we went to the cafeteria and ate lunch. When we went home, I had a shower after 4 days without a shower in Summit! And then we chilled out, recovering and looked at Facebook. Later we went to the cafeteria to eat dinner. Then after we ate dinner some of the girls went out swimming at the swimming pool at the gym, and Alex and I came with them (not swimming) to play FIVE CROWNS (playing cards). And I was such a good teacher (Alex didn’t know the game before) that Alex won the game and had beaten me the first time we played (with 114 –points!). And then we went to sleep afterwards we went home.
