I've been asked several times about internet, cell service and connectivity in the field. Unlike some of my fellow PolarTREC teachers who will be attempting to load journal entries via satellite phone, I will have the advantage of excellent internet service. The Wall Street Journal published a very interesting article about how this high latitude arctic outpost came to have some of the world's best internet service. You can read it here
