This is happening! I"m boarding the plane in ten minutes. Hopefully I'll be on my way to the pole and won't have to "boomerang" (or turn back) half way to the ice.
Yesterday I walked around the town having a lovely time. Saw some sights, ate some dumplings, and got my Extreme Cold Weather Gear (ECW).
