Bill at the dock with the USCG Cutter Healy in the background.
Today is my last day ashore for about 5 weeks! I had a great time sightseeing and appreciating nature in my couple of days here on Unalaska Island but soon I'll board the Healy and switch to marine mode. I met and had dinner with part of the science team last night and already learned a ton about our expedition- lots (and I mean lots) more to come on the members of the team and what each does for the International Continental Shelf Survey. I shot a bunch of pics and video while here and put together some clips and stills to give you a taste of the Aleutians. Hope you enjoy it! Probably won't be able to do videos for a while (or if so they'll be short and low rez)- ship-board bandwidth is likely too restricted for anything more. Still, stay tuned for pics and commentary!! http:// That's all for now! Best- Bill
