Erica Wallstrom is the incoming Einstein Educator Fellow for the Division of Polar Programs in the Geosciences Directorate at the National Science Foundation.
Congratulations and welcome JSEP 2014 participants. My name is Erica Wallstrom and I will be beginning my Einstein fellowship this September. I am so excited to be a part of this year's JSEP team and look forward to meeting you all in the near future. I have been busy wrapping up the school year, and I find it hard to believe that in less than a month, we will be traveling to Greenland together.
I have taught high school science for the past eight years in Rutland, Vermont. Before that, I worked for ski patrol, the National Park Service, and the National Forest Service. I love to travel and will just be returning from a school group to Japan before a quick turn around and heading to Greenland. Luckily I live relatively close to the Albany Airport.
I am married to my husband Dave, and we have the most lovable dog Izzy and completely aloof cat Osa.
