Needless to say, we were in the lab today as were most of the other scientists. Fortunately, there is a wonderful group of smiling, laughing, joking, people around here who do not let the present conditions do anything other than induce merriment.
I worked on Live From IPY stuff all day. No great stories there, I think the presentation will be exciting, it got good reviews from the critics in #268.
Here’s some photos to let you know that I am alive.
PolarTREC Reporter On the Edge of Chukchi Sea in a BlizzardI am also not the only form of life out in this barbaric weather. I believe this is a snow bunting.
I captured this image of a snow bunting flying away from the playground. I need to know more about how they survive in this weather. I also wonder about the snowy owl chicks. And lastly, there is still beauty to be found if you look hard enough.
Beauty, when you look closely.Best wishes to all, stay warm, tomorrow, Holiday Music!!
