How Was Your Drive To Work Today?
With all the snow on the ground, getting equipment to the site has been a very new experience for me. We took a dog sled out to carry a load and snow machined out. On the way back to the BARC (Barrow Arctic Research Center), I took the musher's place and videoed the experience. That's Bob Hollister driving. He is the PI (Principal Investigator) for the Grand Valley State University group working on the ITEX (International Tundra Experiment) project.
P.S. Yes it is as fun as it looks!
The Adventures Of Flat Cat
Today Flat Cat is hanging out on the ATV. ATV's are actually a more efficient way to get around town. It's common to see kids riding them around.
