Journal Entry
The Toolik Field Station has some resident foxes that can be spotted regularly around camp. We took a drive out to look for wildlife and spotted another fox on the Dalton highway.
Fox along the Dalton HighwayFoxes eat voles, lemmings, hares, other small mammals, birds and their eggs, invertebrates, berries, and carrion. They are ecological generalists and because of this inhabit a wide area. Watch the video below for a couple of our fox sightings!
