I have been busy controlling the small anxiety that the big waves are producing here.
I enjoyed the slow and calm days in the past, but they changed a couple of days ago. I have to focus on improving now with out forgetting these moments.
Little to report now that Poseidon has us under his grip. It is four in the afternoon an we still have not sampled i the past two days. Here is the trajectory that the boat has followed in the past two days.
A monitor on the Palmer showing our trajectory for the past two days. Not going far.I find it hard to write now that the body struggles with the motion. Just a few lines to report what cannot be reported because of its repetitiveness. Great news arrived from home, though, as my wife obtained tenure at her University. Great news even when expected. ¡Congratulations to her!
The atmospheric pressure, as well as my wife's, I presume, dropped so much that is was impossible for the barometer to do its job. Here is Kris showing us the barograph.
Today's barograph shows that the pressure dipped so much that the needle came out of the paper. Stormy weather!Jim and the captain have agreed to retry at eight this evening. That is all for today, I apologize for the brevity of my words. Lets hope for calmer waters tomorrow.
