Off to a delayed start. Meeting new people. Talking on a microphone. Staying awake after along day of travel.
Fairbanks has a downtown that seems like it was forgotten as the city spread out many years ago. Cold and lightly snowing is the norm thus far.
If the clouds break tonight we may have a chance to see the lights. At the very least I am looking forward to seeing ice sculptures of world class pedigree.

I am feeling fortunate to be a part of a group that has the energy and support to make this type of experience possible.
My hopes for this training include a working knowledge of how to set up my website, start my blog, and maybe some good video and photo tips that I can take with me.
To do for tomorrow:
wake up early and exercise
