Journal Entry
Today was a beautiful day with temperatures around 3°f and a wind chill of -8°f. We spent most of the day charging the lithium batteries for the seismometers and placing them outside for transport to the runway. When that was accomplished we headed over to the cargo warehouse to check on our gear for the expedition. In the middle of all this I spent some time interviewing and getting to know the crew a little better. Check out this video below. Tomorrow is altitude training, a tour of the camp, driving school, and piecing together solar panel mounts for the equipment. With this busy day ahead, I plan to get plenty of rest so I do not miss a thing. http://youtu.be/NoBeXRUxA1Y
