I have just completed the longest trip of my life, (almost as long as 3rd grade with Sister Loretta!) Because I have a new found respect for international travelers and long haul truckers!

Before this trip I never really cared about DVT (deep vein thrombosis) or have been given a pair of compression leggings from my friends. Then theirs jet lag, TSA, customs ,transfers, requesting a window seat so I could snap a few pictures and being placed over the wing. So again I salute all of you that do this on a regular basis. All kidding aside this is truly shaping up to be the adventure of my life. I am so grateful.

In the next few shots you see the Aurora Australis with the NB Palmer behind it and the NB Palmer by itself. It is amazing the logistical details, and constant work that is needed to get these ships ready. I am hoping to get a chance to chat with some of the folks behind the seen as they do an amazing job.
