Recent Activity
Thank you for subscribing to our expedition page. We plan on journaling more frequently as we get closer to our departure date in June and post reports from the field 4 to 5 times during the week while in Siberia.
Upon returning from orientation in February, I went right to work with reaching out to the community and was successful in getting a a front page write up in our local newspaper - The Cheektowaga Bee. The article about our research can be found under the resources portion of our expedition page. Or click here for the link.
I also gave my first public speaking event at the STANYS Mini-Conference at the Buffalo Museum of Science on March 16th. STANYS is the acronym for the Science Teacher Association of New York State. The conference was well received and I presented to educators from the local area, professors from Buffalo State College, and current undergraduate students in local Science Education programs. STANYS hosts a full conference in November that I hope to speak at as well.
