Welcome to the October CHALLENGE!

I’ve partnered with the owners at Bricks and Minifigs of Memphis. They’ve given me Bruce Bulkbrick and Molly Minifig to take with me on this big adventure. So make sure to follow my journals – these two may find themselves in some crazy places.
The October CHALLENGE
This challenge is going to be a lot of fun!
You’ll be able to use your creativity and imagination to BUILD!
Any idea what we might be doing?
The picture of Bruce Bulkbrick and Molly Minifig and the word BUILD might have given it away. Bricks and Minifigs of Memphis is a new toy store that buys, sells and trades one of America’s favorite toys – LEGOS!
So, your challenge this month is to build your very own frozen creation.
It can be a seal, penguin, iceberg, fish, the continent of Antarctica itself or whatever you wish – as long as it has an Arctic or Antarctic theme!

I’ll have to admit… it’s been a while since I’ve played with Legos and I’d forgotten how much fun it is!
Here’s how it works
Who – This challenge is open to anyone!
What –
- Build your own Arctic or Antarctic inspired design.
- Take a picture of it! (One of the creation itself; and one with YOU with your creation)
- E-mail the picture to me at alex.eilers [at] memphistn.gov. Be sure to include your name and contact information.
** You can also bring your creation to the Bricks and Minifigs store Monday – Friday from 11-6pm
Where – You can build in the comfort of your own home. But if you don't have enough white Legos or you just can’t find the right pieces, then go to the Bricks and Minifigs store and use the Legos from their bulk table to build your perfect frozen scene.
When – This challenge starts on Monday, October 6, 2014 and runs through Halloween.
Winner will get a Lego prize and may receive an offer to display their scene at the Bricks and Minifigs store.
Winning designs, as well as other interesting designs, may be posted on one of my journals journal.
