Postcards are heading north!
Postcards here, postcards there, postcards everywhere!
Over 3,500 postcards (and over 250 flags) were shipped to Antarctica on September 15, and they arrived before I did. So, after carefully unpacking the box, I’m taking all of the postcards to the U.S. Post Office today November 14, 2014 (Memphis time).
And it is quite a load.
That's quite a load I'm carrying to the Post Office. Photo courtsy of Alex Eilers.I also had a little help packing all of these postcards.
Packing is easier with the help of Bruce Bulkfigure and Molly Minifig. Photo credit: Alex Eilers.I’m curious about travel times to all of these different locations. So, I’d like to ask a favor. When you get your postcards, please let me know. Send a comment through ‘Ask the Team’ letting me know the date you received your postcard and where the postcard was sent.
If you got your postcards to me after September 15, don’t worry. A second shipment was mailed from Memphis on November 3. I hope to receive that package around Thanksgiving.
Let’s find out where all these postcards and flags are going…
Hi ho, hi ho, around the world we go!
Postcards heading around the world! We did it again! Just like last time, we have postcards addressed to go from the east coast to the west coast. At least one postcard will be delivered to each state across the U.S.!
But we’re not stopping there! Around the world we go! Postcards were also sent to:
- India
- Australia
- China
- Cambodia
- Germany
- Guatemala
Check out this AMAZING artwork!

When it’s all said and done, I will have mailed over 5,500 postcards. So, here’s a quick math question.
How much does it cost to mail 5,500 postcards if each stamp costs $0.34?
Send you answer to me through ‘Ask the Team.’
