Things have been moving quickly since returning home. We have several weeks of school remaining and you know how things get nearing the end of the school year. I feel like I have a million things to get completed. My District got off to a late start due to a construction project and then we had to extend the school year due to an excess in snow days! We had a pretty "snowy" winter. We are paying for those snow days now!
It is my goal to post at least one Journal a week this summer. I have some exciting things planned. Teachers in Space Training, "Onward and Upward" Scott Crossfield Teacher Workshop, Aviation Hall of Fame Enshrinement and the Dayton Air Show, just to name a few.
Tomorrow, my Science in Ohio students will be competing in the 2nd Annual Mini-Urban Challenge sponsored by the Institute of Navigation (ION) and the Air Force Research Laboratory (AFRL). You can read more about it at their website. I will post pictures and results after the competition.
CH2M Hill Polar Services posted a journal entitiled "Keep on TREC-ing". It is a great little article about the new Polar-TREC season! Check it out here!
Signing off for now...from a rainy day in Ohio!
