And then there's HEALY!!
Today, we made our way from Anchorage to Seward. This was a beautiful drive; mountains, lakes and snow everywhere! There were twelve of us....the van driver plus the Science team. We have grown considerably since our meeting in Minneapolis. We had seven, now we are up to eleven plus the driver...in a van pulling a trailer with our luggage. Spectacular views along the way.

Once we reached Seward, I got my first glimpse at the United States Coast Guard Cutter HEALY...I know she is a large and capable ship, but next to the mountains, she didn't look as massive as I thought she would!

Much of tomorrow will be spent moving aboard. I will get to know HEALY up close and personal!
