Hi Alexis,I hope all is going well in C Period.
To your questions...
We live in a heated building, that feels a lot like a college dorm.
There are long hallways with 10-15 rooms. Each room can house 2-4
people. On each hallway, there is a bathroom with showers. It's
actually quite nice.
You can check out our dorm room in a journal that we did by [clicking

As for getting here, you're right! How do you land a plane if there is
no airport? The answer: You land it on a smooth, flat surface that is
there - like a glacier! It's a huge area of flat, strong ice. Perfect
for landing an airplane. When you walk off the plane, it is very
strange to think that you just landed on nothing but ice.
When we go diving, we use a lot of equipment. For example, I have to
wear thermal insulation layers, a drysuit, a weight belt, a tank and
regulator, hoods, fins, and a mask. I look really silly when I am all
dressed. I would suggest that you read our two journals on getting
ready for a dive for more information.

Thanks for the questions!
