How cold is the water in antarctica? Howie

Michael League

Howie,Great question! Thanks for asking. We will be diving in a section of
Antarctica known as McMurdo Sound. Most research suggests that the
water that the we will be diving in stays about the same temperature all
year long. On average, the water we are diving in is -1.9˚C or 28.5˚F.
Now a question for you...
What do you think would happen if I dropped a water bottle down into one
of our dive holes? Stay tuned! Maybe we'll do just that!
Mike
