Hi my mane is Mary Killian from St.Mark My question is did you find any worms and what types.

Michael League

Hi Mary, No worms yet, and we are definitely ready for some. We've arrived at
WinFly, so this is very early in the scientific field season. There are
a few things that need to happen before we can go diving for worms.
First, we need to complete all of our many trainings - lab safety
training, driver training, sea ice training, diving training. Second,
we need some good weather, so we can out on the sea ice and drill a
hole. Finally, we need to go diving and collect some sediment from the
bottom of the ocean. Hopefully, the worms will be in the sediment.
Right now, we're really waiting for some good weather. Check out
today's (August 25th) journal entry and maybe it will make sense why
we're not out collecting worms. I bet you're enjoying nicer weather in
Florida.
Mike
