Nathan,Great question! I should do a journal all about what we do here for
fun. I need to start by saying, we work really hard. I would say that
we work about 10 hours a day at least six days a week. So when it is
time to relax, we relax with something fun. McMurdo Station offers a
wide variety of activities every night.
Here's a sample of things we can do for fun.
* Play boardgames in the coffeehouse
* Exercise in the gym
* Play basketball
* Climb on the rock wall
* Watch movies
* Learn something new like knitting or riding the unicycle
* Go for a hike
* Make a craft project
* Play music
* Go dancing
* Play shuffleboard
* Go to hear someone talk about their travels
* Go to the Sunday Night Science lecture
With all the interesting people here, there's tons to do! Sometimes,
it's hard to decide what activity to choose!
