Adaptations of Marine Worms in Antarctica

Hello Mr. League and Team, As I prepare to start my new school year, I am checking out all the ways that my students can take advantage of the fact that one of "us" is one of you! Would love a weather update and would also like to know when you will begin the diving expeditions. Hey Ryan, Thanks for the message. So, to answer your first question, we are
currently enjoying a little snow and a temperature of 3˚F. In fact,
this is the first time I've looked and it's been above 0˚F! Since you
seem interested in the weather, I'll point out that to the right of
every journal entry will be a short weather report.
After a discussion with our team, we've decided to keep a weather
log. Currently, we're logging the temperature, wind chill, and number
of minutes of daylight for every day that we're here. It's pretty
interesting to watch the data and look for patterns.
Finally, we hope to begin diving next week. There are a lot of
orientations and trainings to squeeze in AND we have to drill a hole
through the ice before we can get in the water. We'll post journals on
all of the events as they unfold, so stay tuned! Thanks for following
along - we can't wait for your students to join.
