Hi Mike! I have heard that NZ has had some earthquakes recently. When you were in NZ how was the city doing after the earthquakes? Did you notice any damage? Was the city different from your last visit? I was also wondering what the airport was like in Antarctica? Is it similar to the other airports that you have travelled through? What do you see when you first land?
Thanks for sharing your adventures with us! I am looking forward to reading more! ~Alli

Hey Alli!Wow! You must have been reading my mind. I just posted a journal on
the earthquake effects in Christchurch. You can read about it by

As for the airport terminal and arrival in Antarctica, it is not like
any airport I've ever been to before. I'll have a journal about the
whole process. But, here's something for you to think about: the
runway. What do you think a runway looks like in Antarctica? I'll give
you a hint - it's not paved!
