Great hint on why the heel of the bunny boot is so big....do the stabilizers only fit the front part? Are they spikes to help your toes get traction? In my research, I have learned that the sole of the boot is two 1 inch layers of felt with a wooden shim for arch support. The remainder of the boot is layers of felt and wool, extra in the toe area, for warmth down to -60 degrees F. Great journal and photos from Ob Hill. Lynn G
