Hey Mike, Does the water temperature make it difficult to stay underwater long enough for a good dive? Dom Z.

Hey Dom,Great question! You're quite right - the water under the ice is very
cold, about 29˚F. The longest I've stayed under the ice so far is about
one hour. Our gear helps us to stay under longer than we would
otherwise. What do you think the gear does? I'll give you a hint. It
works similar to what you wear in the winter time when you go outside.
