Hi, I'd like to know what it's like before a dive. What's the feeling during preparation for a dive? Do you get nervous? What did it feel like on your first Antarctic dive? I'd like to know.

Hey Joshua!Great questions. There is really a two-part answer.
Before my very first Antarctic dive, I was a little nervous. Once I had
done a few dives, that changed a lot. I got a lot more comfortable with
the whole process.
Now, when I am preparing for a dive, I am focused and also excited. I
know what to expect and focused on the tasks I have to perform
underwater. When we dive at new sites (like we did yesterday), I am way
more excited than nervous. It is really a unique and very cool
experience to see locations and organisms that only a few people have
seen before.
Thanks for following!
