Airborne Survey of Polar Ice

Hi, I just noticed your blog and saw that you were going to Greenland. I was there for a short time last summer with the JSEP program. I was wondering, however, about your spelling. I was lucky enough to spend a lot of time with Greenlandic students while we were there and we were informed that the spelling of the city is Kangerlussuaq, not how you had it spelled in your blog. I thought I would just put that out there since I had never seen the way you had it spelled before and a big emphasis of our program was learning more about the Greenlandic language and culture. Jeannie,Thank you so very much for pointing that out. I'm going to point to lack of sleep as the cause :-). I obviously picked it up somewhere (not exactly sure where), and then repeated it throughout the journal entry.
