Airborne Survey of Polar Ice

How cold is it on the glaciers? Did you slip on the ice? Michelle B.

Michelle,Thanks for your question. The day I was out at the glacier it was rather nice. The temperature was in the mid 30's but it was pretty windy so it seemed a bit colder. It is still winter up here ... we had some snow last night and we are expecting the temperature to be -10 C on Monday.
