Airborne Survey of Polar Ice

What was your favorite thing you got to experience on your trip? What do you like better about Greeland then the U.S?

As far as my favorite part ... for me it might be learning something completely new to me. I've spent a lot of time working in astronomy, so getting exposed to polar research and researchers has made me a more well rounded scientist who happens to enjoy teaching.
