Hi Spencer, I am just getting my gear put into the bags to head into the backcountry.  Watch for "Spirit" in pictures on the trip website!  The first thing is to fly to Dillingham, Alaska, where we will get into a little float plane and fly to one of the remote lakes.  See if you can find Dillingham on a map or use Google Earth. 
You can come by the classroom in September and claim your reward for being the first student to send in email!  I hope your summer is going well.

Hows your new grandson? I saw him on the website, He is so cute. I like the name blaze its cool,compared to here today, it was 104 degrees at my house.how was your plane ride? and what degrees is it there? also how much is it compared to here? When do you fly out on the float plane? That sounds fun.
