Hi Mary Lou. Thanks for writing! No bear sightings,yet. I have learned to shoot a shotgun and carry pepper spray and a flare at all times. They are resting next to me in my tent right now while I type.
I'm at Hallet Lake. We flew here by float plane today from Greyling Lake. We are the only humans for miles. Beautiful arctic tundra landscape and fabulous glacier views. The tundra plants are blooming all colors. We picked and ate blueberries in our free time.
The team is great to work with.
