Hi Peggy,

How exciting to read of your Alaskan adventures. I enjoyed immensely viewing the photos you posted, especially the pictures of the Alaskan native children! I'm more of a social/cultural anthropologist than a scientific one.

The weather here finally dropped below 105 and is a comfortable 85-90, What is the temperature where you are today (Wednesday, August 8?)

I have only been to Alaska once and enjoyed every minute of my visit. It was fun to see all the landscape photos--such an immense state. So, I am extremely jealous of your location on planet earth at this point in time.Smile

Hope your journey continues to go well and we'll see you on the 17th.

Hi Debra.  Thanks for writing.  Aug. 8th was about 69 F at the warmest.  It really has not been too cold or too warm.  Its been more like spring weather at home except longer days; very, very nice.  I am in Anchorage waiting for the float plane to take me to Mica Lake, our last remote lake located in Prince William Sound on an island.  See you soon. Peggy
