I hope you are getting reaclimated both to the weather, scenery and society. I bet you sure miss Alaska.

 Do you know if any work has been done on the lakes that you were studying, or others in the area, looking at the timing of freeze up and break up?

Hi Kirk.  The team has temperature loggers for the last year for air and water at Greyling, Hallet, and Mica,  but I am not aware of anyone studying the timing of freeze up and break up.  That would be interesting data to have.  The team could only estimate when freeze up and break up would have happened from their temperature records.
