Alaska Climate Variation

This sounds like an exciting trip.  Will you be able to see the Northern Lights from there or will you be getting 24 hours of sunshine per day?   Terry Y.

Thanks for the question.  As you guessed it will be summer and light 24/7 when we are on our expedition.  When I was at the training in Fairbanks in March I asked for a Aurora Borealis watch call, which meant I would get a phone call in my room if there were any Lights.  I got the call and rushed outside, but I missed them!!!  I hope some day I will get a chance to see them.
