Since the cycles can raise predictability, what do you expect for your research results to show?

Hi Jordan. Since previous data collected in southern Alaska correlate with data collected in the North Atlantic region, the results give the scientists more confidence in their methods. Using a variety of methods to determine past climate in southern Alaska and comparing the results first with known temperatures from the last 50 years will allow the scientists to calibrate their methods and have more confidence in the results of this study. I expect this research will further validate the methods used and provide more detail of the past climate in southern Alaska. Better climatic data may allow scientists to predict possible changes in the environment caused by humans.
