How long do you plan to be at Antarctica?

Time on the ice is very dependent on the weather. We're scheduled to be in McMurdo for about 7 days before heading into the field. We'll be in the field 7-10 days, and then I'll head back to McMurdo before the rest of the team heads to the Thwaites Glacier for about 4 weeks. I'm hoping to be back very near Christmas or shortly after. Cheers, ~Gillette
