Hey Mr. Gillette. This is Lars Hanson, Shavon Shields, Brandon Ramirez, and Chris Difolco. Our question for the week is, "Can you see the moon during your 6 weeks of light in Antarctica?" We ask this because we can still see the moon here in Kansas, but we were wandering if you could due to all the light. Right now we are in the Waning Crescent phase, so the moon has been rising at approximately 7:20AM and setting at 3:15AM, which is during the day. If you could please reply, we would love to know whether or not you can see the moon.
