does it smell diffrent in antartica?

Brandon Gillette

Good question.  I'm not sure I would go so far as to say it smells different, but especially on station, there is a large presence of deisel smell.  There are a lot of big trucks, tractors, and snow mobiles around here.  Not to mention other smaller equipment that teams of scientists might have to drill or what not.  When you get out of the town, you really can't smell anything.  There is nothing to smell, if you can imagine that.Cheers,~Gillette
