Hi Brandon,

Good to see you got out to WAIS! The flight after yours was cancelled or delayed until after our flight left Pegasus. So... does it feel a lot colder then McMurdo was? On Tuesday before I left a t-shirt and jeans was perfect. Is this where you live in all of that stuff we were issued at the CDC? Christchurch is in the upper 70's and raining today. Enjoy your Scott tent- I could never stay warm in ours.

Take care Ann

I think you're just running it in now that temps in New Zealand are perfect! This is where we have most of our ECW gear, though we don't really need to sleep in it. So far I have been just fine in one or two layers of thermals. The problem hasn't been staying warm, it's been staying awake during the night! It is so hard for me to get sleep down here, and has been since we landed in McMurdo. Last night wasn't too bad, I think I racked up maybe 4-5 solid hours. That has by far been the most since being on the ice.I'm glad you made it back to NZ safely. Have a great time and I want to see pictures! Thank you for the shirt!
