With less than two weeks before the expedition, preparations are under way.  Packing lists are scattered about the house in hopes that I don’t forget anything.  I have been getting great advice from Mindy who has been very good about keeping us posted on the latest weather in McMurdo.  I have also been doing some reading in my "free time" and have come across some great accounts of life on the ice.I am extremely excited with the upcoming trip, however, I must admit there are some nervous feelings as well.  I am looking forward to your questions!
