Antarctic Ice Sheet Studies

   

     Hey Mr. Gillette,

     Looks like everything down there is good. We are studing in class for our final! Oh so fun! Just wondering, if everything goes well and the wheather is good, then when is your fight back home? I didn't know if you guys got to stay longer sence you didn't leave intil saterday, instead of the tuesday you were supposted leave on.

Slaven has been doing alot of the teaching. He is a good teacher but he talks fast so you have to follow along.

Tell Slaven I owe him dinner!  Even though he did cost me a run at our fantasy football championship!  :)  Things here are good, we are at the field camp a few days longer which means I'm missing my original flight back to the states.  I was scheduled for a Dec. 20 flight, that has now been pushed back at least a week.  So, to answer your question, the dates of my return are still in limbo, but no worries, I will return for the start of second semester.  Try to enjoy winter break and Happy Holidays!~Gillette
