     Hey Mr. Gillette,

How was your flight? Did you watch any good movies on the way over there? I cannot handle long flights that don't have any good movies or something to keep you entertained on the way. When we were flying to England over the summer i couldn't get to sleep either because the engines were so loud. Hope you had a good flight and are staying at a nice place.

Hi Michael, Trevor, Madison and Laura.  Did I get everybody?OK, flights, they weren't bad.  I tried to watch several movies on the flight from LA to NZ but had some problems staying awake.  An amazing invention are those noise cancelation headphones, they really work!  The planes aren't too loud at all.
Trevor, stay awake!  Tell stories or hum to yourself if that's what it takes.
No cell phones here, though most everyone has a pager to get in touch with them.  Yes there are two lanes for bowling though I have yet to visit them.
Temperatures, since there isn't a night, most temps stay pretty constant in the upper 10s to low or mid 20s.  I hope all is well back in Kansas!
Cheers,~Gillette
