HI FAMILY!Things here are going very well, and though our work thus far has consisted of taking inventory of equipment we're taking to the field, there is no doubt that this is the trip of a lifetime.  I am always looking for ways to one-up myself.  Other than flying in space, which is next, I'm not sure anything will be able to top this.  I've certainly outdone myself this time around!

Good Evening Brandon.  It's 10:15 a.m., Thurs., 12/6/07 in "T" town.  I just wrote you an email I had to delete because this is going to be posted for everyone to read.  I thought from something I read that this would be a private email to you.  I'll resend my other email to your private email.  Sorry. I just want to let you know, it's a TRUE JOY to read your journals/postings from family, friends and students, along with viewing your photos.  They're beautiful!  You're a GREAT teacher!  I keep sharing the website with family, friends, and co-workers and they're truly amazed.  Don't be surprised who you might hear from.  All is well here.  We're presently getting a beautiful snowfall.  We had an extremely warm day Tues., 12/4/07 (59 or 69 degrees) and I washed my car outside.  Today it's suppose to snow several inches.  That's KANSAS for you!  Do you miss KANSAS yet, and the ever changing weather?  Now it feels like winter/Christmas.
