Hi Mr. Gillette,

How is antarctica so far? We miss you.  Have you seen any pengiuns yet? 

 If it is 3:00pm in our time what time is it there?  is it the time if year when it is day time all the time.

Antarctica is great, though it is a long ways from home!  I'm starting to miss things like family, friends, and believe it or not, students!    No animals yet, but I'll be here for a while so not all hope is lost.If it is 3pm there, it is 10am here, but the next day.  Crazy to think about, I know.  I'm still adjusting.  This is the time of year when there is 24 hours of daylight, and I'm still adjusting to that too.  It's 11pm here right now and I'm still working.  You wouldn't even know if you didn't have a clock handy.
