does it get any kind of warm when the sun iz out?

Warm is such a relative term down here.  The biggest thing with whether or not is gets 'warm' has to do with the wind.  The first day we arrived here at WAIS there was nothing more than a very light breeze with lots of sun.  We were working and setting up our tents in t-shirts and fleece jackets.  The past few days when there has been no sun and lots of wind, we have had several layers of clothes on and our parkas, a.k.a. big red.~Gillette
